Cowgirls Gathering encourages trainers to promote their participation in “Race to Ranch” through mainstream media. We encourage trainers to post progress reports, blogs and images throughout their journey leading up to the competition using the tag @CowgirlsGathering and #CGQ23R2R on either Facebook or Instagram.  Any sponsorship that is secured directly by any competitor is that of personal sponsorship and not associated in anyway shape or form of Cowgirls Gathering.  The major sponsor for Phase 1 & 2 is @QueenslandOffTheTrack and the major sponsor for Phase 3 is @CinchesDownUnder please also tag them in any public posts.

At any point during the lead up to Cowgirls Gathering if we feel any horse is seen or reported mistreated this will reside as INSTANT disqualification and the next entry in line will be selected.  (Inflicting physical harm, wilful overworking, misuse of training equipment, or any action deemed inappropriate to Cowgirls Gathering).  If on arrival at the competition, we feel any horses body condition/soundness does not meet criteria the horse and rider will be refused competition entry.  Anti-Slaughter Clause: Owner/ trainer will not knowingly sell the horse to a “kill buyer” or allow the horse to be sold at public auction for less than $1,000 following the competition at Cowgirls Gathering.

Additional Expenses to Consider!  The costs of acquiring a horse, training and care, transport to your place of business and to and from Cowgirls Gathering and participating in a major national competition are considerable. Trainers who are not prepared to assume full financial responsibility regardless of outcome should not enter.
