What to Expect
🌟 Five experienced female instructors working across five days with 50 cowgirls
🌟 Small group sessions, capped at 10 riders for a more personalised experience
🌟 Rotating format so each group works with every instructor multiple times across the week
🌟 Groups tailored to suit both horse and rider, based on your nomination and preference sheet
If you’re looking to step into cattle work, build confidence, or refine your skills in your chosen discipline, this week is designed to meet you where you’re at and help you move forward.
Daily Flow
🔹 Mornings begin around 8am with a combined group session (unmounted)
🔹 Education sessions run between 1.5 to 3 hours, both with and without horses and cattle
🔹 Monday and Tuesday are focused on rider and horse development without cattle, before cattle are introduced later in the week
🔹 Riders may bring up to two horses for the week (one is absolutely sufficient)
🔹 No horse swapping during sessions
🔹 Evenings are about connection, shared arena time, conversations, and Q&A with instructors
Meals & Camp Life
🍽️ All meals provided from Sunday dinner through to Friday lunch
🍴 A mix of vendors across the week, bringing variety and good camp-style food
☕ Camp kitchen stocked with tea, coffee, and help-yourself basics
🥤 BYO drinks, including water, soft drinks, or alcohol
Dogs 🐕
Dogs are welcome at the Mini Gathering, unlike the main Cowgirls Gathering event, however they:
🚫 Must be restrained at all times
🚫 Are not permitted in food areas, including headquarters, bar and vendor spaces
🚫 Are not permitted in arenas, or in toilet and shower facilities
Payment
💳 Your riding position is confirmed once payment is complete. If you’re paying in full, that’s immediate.
If you’ve chosen the 50/50 plan, you pay half at checkout to hold your place and the remaining half is charged automatically on 25 September 2026 to the card you used, so there’s nothing you need to remember to do. We’ll send a reminder in the days beforehand, and you’re welcome to clear the balance early at any time through your account. Please note that camping allocation, riding groups and catering are locked in before final payments are processed, so if you’re on a plan and want certainty on those details, paying early is the way to get it.
Refund Policy (2026)
We understand that life happens, and while we hope you won’t need it, we’ve structured a clear and fair approach. Refunds are calculated from the event start date of 27 September 2026, and apply only where a rider medical or horse health issue is supported by a doctor’s or veterinary certificate. All percentages are of the full ticket price, not the amount paid to date.
✔️ 90+ days prior, 100% refund
✔️ 60 to 89 days prior, 50% refund
✔️ 30 to 59 days prior, 25% refund
❌ 0 to 29 days prior, no refund
Because we are now inside 29 days of the event, tickets purchased from this point are non-refundable. Transfer is available to everyone, at any time, and is the better option if something changes.
Ticket Transfers
✅ Your ticket is fully transferable, at no additional cost, right up to the event.
If a waitlist is in place, your position will be offered there first. If the waitlist has been exhausted, you’re welcome to arrange your own replacement and we’ll transfer the ticket across for you. Any money that changes hands between you and your replacement is arranged directly between the two of you.
