Crew only. If anything happens on site, big or small, it goes in here the same day while it's fresh. This is our record for follow up, insurance and the post-event review.

Serious injury or danger, call 000 first, then ring the Event Lead on 0477 727 272. Deal with the person and the horse, then come back and fill this in.

What goes in here

  • Any injury to a person, even if they say they're fine.
  • Any injury to a horse, a horse down, or a horse loose.
  • Near misses. Nobody hurt but it was close. These are the ones we learn the most from.
  • Damage to vehicles, floats, gear or showground facilities.
  • Behaviour issues with attendees, educators, vendors or crew. Keep it factual.

Incident report

Answer the Yes/No questions and the form opens up the sections you need. Names, time, place, what happened, who else was there. If you don't know something, leave it blank rather than guessing. Reports go straight to the committee.

Clear Signature

Confidential event record. Complete this report as soon as practicable after the incident. It is retained in line with Cowgirls Gathering's incident-management, privacy and record-keeping procedures.
