๐Ÿ… RACE TO RANCH โ€“ TANJA KRAUS

Tanja is a full time horsemanship clinician from the East Coast of NSW. She travels worldwide (when not in lockdown!) teaching clinics. Her passion is using kind horsemanship philosophies to develop a partnership horse for the rider. Her philosophy is focused on partnership and the horse and rider as a team – to be in tune, flexible, supple, athletic, and confident.

Tanjaโ€™s ridden career began with an off the track standardbred named Shadow, who she dragged to anything – from speed events to hacking, dressage and jumping (whether he was good at it or not!) and then her second horse, Tank, was an off the track thoroughbred she was training for dressage and hacking, and it was this horse that led her to her very first horsemanship clinic – you could say that without him she wouldnโ€™t be who she is today.

Over the past 15 years Tanja has been more focussed on western style horses – predominantly paints and quarter horses, and in most recent years focussed on Cowboy Dressage.

Tanja is excited to bring these 2 worlds together and demonstrate the versatility that our thoroughbreds have to offer, along with trying her hand at the ranch horse competition. She is thrilled to be a part of the Cowgirls Gathering and to compete alongside some of Australiaโ€™s great horsewomen.
