Hello everyone my name is Holly Hall- Perrin (Ahearn), I live at Coleychelle Farm, Coleyville in Qld.
We are Kennallywood Stud and with my family we breed horses dachshunds and cattle. Competition Horses have been in the family for generations with our stud. I break in, train, show, draft, coach, breed and much more.
Having bred and trained many different breeds of horses, I do have a soft spot for the thoroughbred. Having done everything from walk ins, foaling out, re training and education of OTT, yearling sales, breaking in to strapping at races for my father who is a trainer.
We predominantly breed Australian stock horses, riding ponies and a few Warmbloods. I am currently competing in a variety of different disciplines. Starting out as a kid with horses and ponies that needed rehab work and education as I wasn’t allowed an educated pony therefore the ones I rode I made. That’s where the addiction started.
I am a Trainer assessor and have taught many students to ride as well as horsemanship and ground work.
Having re trained many OTT horses for the show ring, dressage, eventing etc and spent many mornings as a teenager at the track watching horses that I think may be my next project and following them till retirement. Ive never trained one to make a ranch horse so I’m extremely excited for this challenge and honoured to take part in “race to ranch”.
