Let’s chat about the bat in the room! As we head back into a three day lockdown here in South East Queensland we want to be clear on our stance here at Cowgirls Gathering with regards to COVID-19.
Firstly, nothing means more to us than safety, yours and ours, but let us be clear on what the means.
If at the time of the event, if we have any government enforced lock downs, a full refund will be given to those living in the impacted areas. The event will still go ahead.
We have been very careful about the event approach especially with regards to selecting the date, venue and educators. Strong consideration was made with regards to limiting ticket numbers for our first year, this being done in consultation with local and state council advice.
Should the impact be wider, Cowgirls Gathering will have a “change the date”. We have a few dates in mind as a contingency plan but will advise should the need arise. We don’t feel like we are there as yet! However, if you are a ticket holder and the date change does not suit you, we will also offer you a full refund.
In any case, the Race to Ranch Horse competition will go ahead. Those competitors not able to travel will be able to still complete virtually under instruction.
We all have to step up and do the right thing but we will move forward and commit to you all that we will be open and honest about our plans and ensure that you are not disadvantaged.
This event, has and will continue to be about a way of going. We are not about money or fame, but we are about building communities that support each other. We welcome you to question, clarify and discuss any concerns with us at anytime.
